SWISSQUAL & SERAPION
SwissQual has been a trusted name in mobile network testing for years. While their mobile applications were highly advanced, existing tools for managing large fleets of devices had become outdated, difficult to maintain and impossible to scale. Serapion joined the journey with the task of creating a modern and reliable platform that could replace legacy systems and secure long-term stability.

The vision
WHERE IT ALL BEGINS
The initial concept was a system that could remotely monitor mobile networks using existing mobile apps as probes. It needed to be intuitive for everyday use, but also allow advanced control over each device and provide clear performance insights. As the idea matured, the solution was extended with localized setups, for example in vehicles or portable units, making it more flexible and practical in real-world conditions where resources are limited.

Transforming a legacy setup into a modern, enterprise-ready platform was not only a technical task but also a long-term strategic challenge. The system had to stay operational while new features and technologies were introduced. At the same time, it needed to serve different types of users, from engineers with deep technical knowledge to field workers with minimal training.

From the very beginning, the architecture was built with flexibility in mind, allowing new technologies to be integrated seamlessly while keeping the product stable in production.
