Bloom Diagnostics set out to fundamentally rethink how medical diagnostics are delivered to individuals. Instead of relying solely on centralized laboratories and delayed results, Bloom envisioned a system that enables fast, decentralized, and user-friendly blood diagnostics.

From the early stages, the collaboration focused on building the digital application layer that connects Bloom’s laboratory technology, diagnostic devices, and firmware into a single, coherent system. Over six years, the partnership evolved from early product development to a mature, scalable healthcare platform used in real-world, regulated environments.

WHERE IT ALL BEGINS

Bloom Diagnostics’ vision was to empower people to better understand and manage their health through accessible diagnostics and clear insights. The goal was to create a seamless interaction between medical hardware and digital applications, along with a guided testing experience that could be used without medical knowledge.

In addition, the platform needed to deliver fast and reliable diagnostic feedback in a clear, understandable way, while remaining secure and compliant with medical-grade standards. Ultimately, the vision was to shift diagnostics toward preventive, personalized health monitoring supported by strong digital experiences.

Bloom Diagnostics was building a complete diagnostic ecosystem from scratch, combining laboratory science, medical devices, firmware, and software. Our role was to design and deliver the application layer, the key interface between complex medical technology and end users.
